For Venue Owners

Yes — completely. There's no purchase price, no installation fee, and no monthly cost. Velyra installs, stocks, and maintains the station at our expense and earns revenue from the products guests buy. Your venue provides the space; we provide and run everything else.

Nothing ongoing. Your team doesn't stock, service, or troubleshoot the station. We monitor inventory remotely, handle every refill, and take care of maintenance. If an issue ever comes up, you simply contact us.

There isn't one. We're a product business, not a fee business — we make money only when guests choose to buy a strip, a mint, or an essential. That's why we can offer the station free and fully managed to your venue.

The station has a compact, wall-mounted footprint designed for restrooms. We assess your layout when we schedule the install and handle the mounting ourselves. Full dimensions and specs are on our The Machine page.

The station is cashless and runs on tap-to-pay, processed entirely by Velyra. There's no register integration, no cash handling, and nothing that touches your books.

Yes — the station uses an internet connection for cashless tap-to-pay and inventory monitoring. Most venues' existing Wi-Fi is all it needs. If you don't have reliable internet at the install spot, let us know during the walkthrough and we'll fit the machine with its own cellular receiver, so it works either way.

Yes — an optional custom vinyl wrap can match the station to your venue's branding. It's entirely optional, and we'll go over the options with you during your consultation walkthrough.

No. We're not interested in trapping venues. If the station ever isn't a fit, we'll remove it. We'd rather have partners who are glad to have us.

The opposite, in our experience. The hardware is sleek, discreet, and premium — it reads as thoughtful hospitality, not as a warning. Guests tend to notice the care, and that builds trust.

For Guests & the Public

You place a small drop of your drink onto the test area on the strip — typically with a straw or your finger — and wait the short time noted in the instructions. The strip changes color if it reacts to certain substances it's designed to detect. It's quick, discreet, and meant to be used right at the table or bar.

Drink test strips are designed to help detect certain common substances sometimes used to tamper with drinks. They do not detect every possible substance, and results can be affected by the type of drink, its ingredients, temperature, and timing. They are a helpful screening tool — not a complete test.

No, and we'll never claim that. The strips are one added layer, not a guarantee. A negative result does not prove a drink is safe, and a positive result is a signal to stop and seek help. The most reliable protection is still the basics: watch your drink, stay with people you trust, and never leave a drink unattended.

No. Drink test strips are a consumer screening product, not a medical or diagnostic device. They are not a substitute for medical care. If you feel unwell or suspect your drink was tampered with, stop drinking it and seek help right away.

Treat it as a reason to stop and be cautious. Don't finish the drink. Tell someone you trust or a member of staff, stay with people you know, and if you feel unwell or unsafe, seek medical help or call for assistance. A result is a prompt to act — not a diagnosis.

The restroom is one of the few private moments in a night out, and it's often where someone steps away from their drink. Placing a discreet station there means a guest can grab what they need without drawing attention — and venues can offer the tool without making it a spectacle.

Tell the venue you'd love to see one — and tell us. Owners can request a free, fully managed install through our Partner With Us page, and we serve Nashville, Gallatin, and the greater Middle Tennessee area.

About the Company

Velyra Systems is based in Gallatin, TN, and serves bars and nightlife venues across Nashville and Middle Tennessee.

Velyra was founded by Avery Chapman, who started the company after a new Tennessee drink-spiking law highlighted how few simple, in-the-moment tools were available to guests and venues.

Call or text (629) 308-8080, email owner@velyrasystems.com, or use the contact form. For venue owners, the fastest path is our Partner With Us application.
